"Working to Build a Stronger Community"

Law enforcement agencies around the country are adopting a new philosophy to deal with crime in their communities - Community Oriented Policing (COP).COP encourages law enforcement agencies and community residents to actively work together in addressing public safety issues. By offering the opportunity for citizens to become more directly involved with their local agency, both groups are able to contribute on a larger scale in enhancing the quality of life in the community. It is a fact that COP efforts play an important role in reducing crime in any community.

C.A.T. stands for "Community Action Teams". St. George Mayor Dan McArthur and the St. George City Council are proud to have adopted this great philosophy in our community.
