C.A.T. Team 9/10 Projects Home Base Business Officer Thad Feltner has been working with the business licensing folks regarding home based business issues. This includes people parking multiple business vehicles and trailers in their driveways or on the roadside. Officer Feltner's catchphrase for our CAT Team is "Working together we can make a difference in our community, one neighborhood at a time."
Transient Camps CAT 9 & 10 officers have worked on locating transient camps in their areas, especially near the Virgin River. These officers have been successful in cleaning up several of these camps and holding those responsible accountable.
ATVs A large volume of citizen complaints have come in and continue to regarding ATV's operating near residences and on roadways. All citizens in area 10 were notified through the mail of the City's standpoint regarding these issues. Officers working this area have increased enforcement and will continue to do so.
Sgt. Feltner has been an officer since 2000. He began his career with the Hurricane Police Department and transferred to St George in 2004. He started in Patrol where he took part in the field training program. Thad is a member of the SWAT Team and a firearms instructor.
Officer Bangerter assists the Chiefs Office with many special projects. He also assists in many other duties performed in the Administrative Services Division.
Officer Spencer has been with the St George Police Department since October 1996. He has worked as a patrol officer and is currently assigned as a School Resource Officer, having worked at Millcreek High School and currently at Desert Hills Middle School.
