St. George Police - Request Burn Permit
Burn Permit is for today only (December 01, 2008), >>> THE BURN SEASON IS CLOSED FOR THE HURRICANE & LEEDS AREAS <<< 11-10-08 JD

It is for basic yard clean up of weeds and trimmings. No trash, building materials or field burns are allowed. The burn must be in small piles and running water must be available at all times. Please do not leave the fire unattended at any time and if the wind comes up, you must extinguish it immediately. The fire must be out by sundown, except in the city of Washington it must be out by 4pm.

Note: A Burn Permit must be submitted online for each day you plan to burn.

Unincorporated areas of Washington county are now being issued "written" burn permits by the area fire chief.

For any large/field burn contact the local fire Chief or Shawn Jaca at 435-590-4715

If you live in;

Diamond Valley- permits are issued at the Diamond Valley Fire Stations Tuesdays & Thursday between 7:30pm-8:30pm

Hurricane/Laverkin- for large burns please contact the local fire department at 635-9562

Leeds- for large burns or questions call Chief Lewis at 467-2911

Springdale/Rockville- Contact Jo Barker at 680-9193

Virgin- For all burns contact Sandra Grow 635-7351

Winchester Hills- contact Chief Reusch at 632-9775

Gunlock, Veyo, Northern Central, Brookside contact Shawn Jaca at 435-590-4715
