June 11 2008 Shade Tree Minutes City Business review - Meeting minutes of May 8, 2008 - The City has asked Departments to cut 5% from their current budgets. This measns a loss of $5,000.00 from the Shade Tree Board Budget. - 525 trees hae been planted at the Tree Farms. - We also welcome GIl Almquist as our new City Council Repesentative. - It was brought up to GIl that the City needs to have a ordinance requiring only ISA Certified people to be able to prune trees. _ CEM Mark Hodges CEM Getting ready for summer. Getting the weeds out for the future months of heat. Also a good time to check your irrigation. - Most plants that grow in this area don't need to be watered during the winter months.
