Mathis Park

The 11 acre park is named in honor of the Mathis Family who donated farm land to the City of St. George. Although the fishing pond and park property were lost in the 2005 flood the park was re-built in 2008 with a number of added features and upgrades. The park amenities include a covered pavilion with picnic tables and barbecues, restroom facilities, loop walking trail, three separate grass areas, and a shaded children’s playground. Future improvements include another covered pavilion, additional playground equipment, and a splash pad. 120 trees from our tree farm have recently been planted in the grass areas and along the trail.Amenities
