No body shall be interred, or remains received at any cemetery, unless a burial permit from a licensed mortuary is submitted to the Sexton. In addition, remains from out-of-state shall be accompanied by a Transit Permit. Payment of City burial fees shall be made to the licensed mortuary submitting the required permits, unless the burial charges have been paid in advance to the Cemetery Sexton.
To be charged residence fees, the Sexton's office must be provided with proof of City of St. George, Utah, residency. This proof shall be in the form of a driver's license or voter registration card.
