1160 South Roadway Tree Planting

On the morning of October 24, 2009 as part of the National "Make-A-Difference Day" volunteers from Americorps along with Parks and Park Planning staff planted twenty eight street trees. The City of St. George Parks Division excavated the planting pits and installed the drip irrigation system. This volunteer effort completes the new roadway project and will enhance the neighborhood with shaded sidewalks. Thank you to Americorps volunteers and volunteer co-ordinators for a successful project.
