In 1980, under the direction of Mayor James G. Larkin, the St. George City Council and City Manager Gary S. Esplin, the St. George City Office Building was officially dedicated and became the headquarters for every city department with the exception of the fire department.

|
The Streets Division is responsible for maintenance of pubic streets, drainage ways and associated services. The Crews maintain over 1,500 lane miles of roadway and 154 miles of storm drain. The Division has 32 employees and an annual budget of approximately $5,000,000.
