The St. George Fire Departments technical rescue team instructors assisted the SWAT team members in how to repelle off a building and from windows. SWAT members were instructed on the basic of harnesses, ropes, anchors, safeties, main lines, belay lines and different types of repelles. All this was done to improve response capabilities of the team and officer safety.
