Medical emergencies make up the largest part of our responses on a daily bases. St. George Fire Department is license as a Basic First Responder Level, for response to emergency medical emergencies in the City. Training for this certification requires: Basic EMT (150hrs) CPR & AED (8hrs) and many of our fireghters are trained as EMS instructors (32hrs).
