CITY OF ST. GEORGE
WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH

Public Notice


Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a meeting in the City Council Chambers, 175 East 200 North, St George, Utah, on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, commencing at 5:00 p.m.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. CONSENT ITEM– FINAL PLAT

Consider approval of a road dedication plat for “3000 East & Crimson Ridge Road.” Located at approximately 3000 East and 3300 South. This was previously approved in 2007 and has expired. Re-approval is requested. Bush & Gudgell is the representative. Case No. 2009-FP-023.

2. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT- EXTENSION

Consider a request for an extension of a previously approved conditional use permit to construct a professional four (4) story medical office building with an adjacent underground parking garage. The proposed maximum height to the top of the parapet would be sixty-four feet four inches (64’-4”) and the maximum roof height would be fifty-four feet (54’). The project is “Smith Memorial Medical Building,” Mr. Mark Dickerson applicant. The site is located at 1100 East Tabernacle. The property is zoned C-2 (Highway Commercial). Case No. 2008-CUP-015.

3. ZONING REGULATION AMENDMENT (5:00 P.M.)

Consider a zoning regulation amendment to the City Zoning Regulations, Title 10 Zoning Regulations, Chapter 25 “Landscape Standards”, to add Section 10-25-6 “Single Family Residential Zones,” to require all single family residential zones to provide at least thirty percent (30%) of the dwellings front yard shall be landscaped subject to certain criteria. City of St George applicant. Case No. 2009-ZRA- 011.




4. DISCUSSION ITEM

A discussion to consider adding language to Title 10, Chapter 7, Article B “Single-Family Residential Zones” to permit the keeping of chickens and rabbits as an accessory use on properties of 10,000 square feet or greater subject to specific limitations.
