GEORGE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING FEBRUARY 20, 2001, 12:00 NOON ADMINISTRATION CONFERENCE ROOM PRESENT: Mayor Daniel McArthur Councilmember Sharon Isom Councilmember Suzanne Allen Councilmember Rod Orton Councilmember Bob Whatcott City Manager Gary Esplin City Attorney Jonathan Wright City Recorder Gay Cragun EXCUSED: Councilmember Larry Gardner Mayor McArthur called the meeting to order and welcomed those in attendance. APPROVE AGREEMENTS: Consider approval of and authorize the Mayor to sign a grant agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration for the replacement airport land acquisition. A motion was made by Councilmember Orton and seconded by Councilmember Allen to approve the agreement and authorize the Mayor to sign it. Mayor McArthur called for a vote, as follows: Councilmember Orton - aye Councilmember Allen - aye Councilmember Whatcott - aye Councilmember Isom - aye The vote was unanimous and the motion carried. Consider approval of and authorize the Mayor to sign a cooperative agency agreement with the Utah Aeronautical Operations Division for the replacement airport. A motion was made by Councilmember Whatcott and seconded by Councilmember Allen to approve the agreement and authorize the Mayor to sign it. Mayor McArthur called for a vote, as follows: Councilmember Whatcott - aye Councilmember Allen - aye Councilmember Isom - aye Councilmember Orton - aye The vote was unanimous and the motion carried. ADJOURN: A motion to adjourn was made by Councilmember Orton and seconded by Councilmember Whatcott.
