Virgin River Half Marathon

This is Southern Utah's longest running half marathon! This spectacular race is on paved city trails that wind along the Virgin River and take you through the beautiful landscape of St. George! Click the link above to register now!!

 

Expo & Packet Pickup Information: Friday, January 10th, 2025 from 2:00PM-7:00PM at the Dixie Convention Center located at 1835 S Convention Center Dr, St George, UT 84790. If you cannot pick up your packet on Friday, you must inform us prior to the expo to ensure you receive your bib. There will be no bib assignments on the morning of the race.

Start Line Information: 
Location: Dixie Convention Center (1835 S Convention Center Dr., St George, UT 84790)
Start Times: 
      -   Half Marathon: 9:00AM
      -   10k: 9:20AM
      -   5k: 9:15AM

      -   Fun Run Walk n' Roll: 11:00AM

Aid Station Information: Aid stations will be located at approximately miles 2.2, 4.9, 6.4, 8.6, and 10.9, and one will be at the turnaround for the 5K. Water and Gatorade will be available at each aid station and power gel will be available at aid stations 4.9 and 8.6

Time Limits: Please be aware that all athletes must finish the half marathon in 3 hours and 30 minutes- roughly a 16-minute mile. Athletes who have not finished by this time will be allowed to stay on the course but will not have course support, the clock will be stopped and taken down, and those over 3.5 hours will receive a DNF (did not finish) in the official results.

Award and Medals: The top three male and female finishers in each race will receive an award. In the half marathon, the top three male and female finishers in each 5-year age category will receive awards. In the 10k and 5k, the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year age category will receive awards. All participants who finish their respective race will receive a finishers medal.

     -   $35 until December 9th, 11:59PM MST
     -   $45 until December 30th, 11:59PM MST
     -   $55 January 12th (Packet Pick-up)
Fun Run Walk n' Roll: 200 Meter, and 1-Mile:
     -   $10 Until January 11th, 11:59PM MST
     -   $20 January 12th (Packet Pick-Up)
