Pottery, Ceramics, & Clay Creations

Fun and engaging classes for students of all ages! 
Pottery Wheel Classes: 
Beginning students will learn how to center and will make their own mug, a bowl, a plate, and a vase.
Intermediate students will work on personal projects and learn more advanced techniques such as lidded containers, sectionals, and sets.
All projects will be trimmed, glazed, and ready for at-home use at the end of each class session! The class fee includes clay, glazes, and firings.

Pottery/Ceramic Date Nights:
This is the perfect class for spouses, siblings, best friends, grandparents or grandchildren. Guests will make a cup and bowl during the one-night class. All projects will be trimmed, glazed, and ready for at-home use at the end of each class session! Class fee of $40/couple (resident; $45/couple non-resident) includes clay, glazes, and firings.

Ceramic Creations:
Students will design and build their own ceramic tiles, vases, and bowls. Finished products will have unique textures and designs. Projects will be glazed and ready to display at home! Materials are included in the class fee.

Clay Creations for Preschoolers-
Designed for preschoolers and parents/guardians to experience together as a couple. Youth will play with many different types of clay and create a pinch, coil, slab pots and an animal. Class fee includes all supplies

Clay Creation for Pre-Schoolers SUMMER Series Dates: Summer 2024 Dates will be announced in February 2024

Clay Hand Building
This class is designed for beginner and intermediate pottery students. Students will learn how to make a pinch pot, coil bowl, slab project, and clay animal.  All projects will be glazed and ready for use.  The class fee includes clay, glazes, and firings.

SUPER MARKET SCIENCE
COME LEARN about fun science projects that you can do at home! Slime,
crystals, volcanos, mold, electricity and other mind expanding experi-
ments will be taught! Students will have several ideas to use for school
science experiments. Class is taught twice a week. July 9-25

Who is the instructor and what is she like?
Our instructor Jennifer Bell is extremely skilled in her field. She has been creating beautiful pottery for over thirty years and teaching the art of pottery for twenty. She has a bachelors degree in Ceramics from Dixie State University. Jenn has experience working with students of all ages and will work with you one-on-one to improve your skills and understanding of the subject
Is there an extra material fee?
No. The registration fee covers the cost of materials.
Do I need to bring anything?
No.  All necessary equipment is provided.
Why do some classes require Parent Participation?
These classes are specially designed for parents to work alongside their children.
Can I sign up for multiple sessions?
Yes! We also encourage you to register early to guarantee yourself a spot.
