The main purpose of Safety Town is to provide a well-rounded safety primer for young children. The 2 week program will cover various safety topics through the means of role-playing, games, songs, special guests, constructive play and hands-on safety practice through a stimulated town setting.
As times have changed, so has the City of St. Georges Safety Town Program. The program now includes pedestrian safety, bike safety, stranger danger, drug awareness, outdoor safety, fire safety, seat beat safety and more.
The St. George Leisure Services Department is very proud to have the opportunity to provide this wonderful program to the young community members in this area and hope you feel the same.
